Headed over to Bart's yesterday afternoon until 4:PM (Thurs, 24.March). I had slabbed by the Bissell first but the wind, and water were about the same as this past Monday, so no go.

At Bart's the water was down almost a foot from Monday, moving fairly well, and clear; surface temp was 50ºF on the nose. Breeze was light, coming from down river. Milton, one of the regulars was already plying the river above the RR bridge. A nice day to take casting practice, and talk with a fellow shad-a-holic. But, no fish today. C'est la vive, c'est la guerre.

Terminal tackle: 3/5 oz drail over 2' leader (8# flouro), and a silver willow yellow/red & black dot.
