I gave the river a week to “flush” after the sewage releases in Mass last week.
Hit brown town hoping to find some eager players willing to eat.

I threw the WP working my way up river and went 4/7 on strikes.
The sun disappeared and a stiff North wind set in and the top water bite Seemed to shut down.

I switched to a soft jerkbait to get things moving again and the fish responded.
I threw it all the way back down and caught several nice ones and a bunch of spunky up and comers.

It was a great workout and the fishing definitely did not disappoint.
