Apparently Ozzy's business manager (his foul-mouthed wife), didn't like some of the things Dickinson had been saying about the whole Ozzfest Tour and someone in their camp organized the "attacks." Picked some info. up here: http://www.ozzyhead.com/8-21-05a.htm
Including this great quote from Dickinson:
Bruce declared 'You'll never hear MAIDEN on U.S. radio, MTV and certainly never see them in a reality show,' he says they will play 60 minutes, not 55.
Why does it not surprise me that Sharon Osbourne would do something so low and idiotic? She may be a great manager and business person??? But she is a Bi*#ch. I can't stand her talk show or watching her un/reality show. Being that all she does is sell OZZY. Which I think sells itself? I wonder if she's even a good manager. I would think selling OZZY would be like selling dollar bills for a nickle each.
What's the deal with Megadeth. Last I heard Mustaine would never play again because of his wrist. Is he just singing now or does he still play guitar? Is Marty Friedman still in the band?
Dream Theater - Awake Qryche - Mindcrime Gary Moore - Corridors of Power VH II WhiteSnake Metallica - Black Album AIC - Dirt Kings X - Dogman Symphony X - The Odyssey Deep Purple - Burn
My first concert was Iron Maiden and Judas Priest at the Meadowlandds in NJ in 1981 or 1982. Halford rode a 1/2 ton Harley onto stage during that show. When Priest did Green Manalishi the hair on the back of my neck stood up.
I've also seen Motorhead (used to be the loudest band on earth), Krokus and several other psuedo-metal bands like Blackfoot, John Butcher Axis and others I cant think of now.
The biggest surprise I got was seeing Jeff Beck live....dude plays very loud and heavy in concert.

Dave is alive and well and still playing. Megadeth is actually still out on tour (called GIGANTOUR). Their last couple of albums have been phenomenal. He was able to rehab his hand, fortunately, and put together a new crew. It's up in the air whether he will continue with teh Megadeth name or not. Either way, he's still pumping out some of the most incredible music ever.
