Any advise??

We were jigging with Lindy Frostee and Rattlin' Flyer spoons tipped with spikes. I use a lot of pinhead shiners on the jigs, but started with spikes yesterday and found no need to change up. Lots of the lures out there have rattles in them. I think that's key. I'll snap the rod hard a few times to get their attention and then settle back down to more subtle jigging. Every once in a while, pound the jig on the bottom a few times. The more commotion, the better. Once they are staring at your lure, then you have to fine tune what you are doing to get them to hit. It changes from day to day so experiment with how fast you jig. In deeper water, I start deep and work my way up through the water column a couple feet at a time. Jig for a minute and reel up a bit and repeat. Don't be afraid to move around a lot. That's why I go nuts with the auger first thing. That way we can move from hole to hole without making much noise.

Alive and well buddy. We will have to talk about that. I've got something for your Nils, but we need to have another auger race FIRST. wink2 Call or text me, my number is still the same.

I noticed you didn't invite Kapt.

Wassa matter? Don't want to get stuck in the mud, pulled out by Farmer John, then offered to get inoculated with the same needle the cows get? biggrin
