I was considering going to Chapmans myself on Monday but couldn't find a partner so may try a local hole for some bass instead of runnin all the way out there. I have some new Sebile's Magic Swimmers though that I really want to give a try. No sooner do I get some and I see Blaine already has a new hot lure for the Pike.

There's no truer statement I can think of than a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. I've done the research and have had more bad days of fishing than good days of work and have come to the conclusion that it is a fact!

Don't sweat it... The Sebiles are deadly too. We caught the hell out of pike, stripers and albies last season on them. Even though I've been throwing the Revo Shads so far this season, the Sebiles have earned a place in my gear bag and they go everywhere with me. Like a lot of guys here, I am a tackle junky, those that have seen my man cave can attest to that. I am always looking for the latest and greatest lure. For me, my go to lure for years was always the Houdini. Now that they are gone, I've been trying all kinds of stuff to find a replacement lure for bass and pike... So far, I'm digging the Revolution Shads.

I have to refill and expand my tackle collection and I'm gonna miss those Houdinis. Why did they get discontinued??!!

For whatever reason, I never had much luck with the Houdinis, think I was fishing them wrong. I still have a package or two unopened I do believe, I'll bring them to this years P-fest and give them away.

I may still have to try the Ct. River tomorrow, I really have an itch to catch some Pike. Netting them and getting them on the boat solo should be a trip.
