Nice fish Jon...Here's some irony..I drive almost an hour to fish and live 5 miles from Amos

Just curious, moderate retrieve or were you burning the bait?

Definetly not a burn a retrieve. More of a moderate retrieve. I wanted it to hit the grass and or bottom. Probably a little quicker in 3ft than in 6 though.
Was casting that bait on braid with a 7' MH rod held high. Found that's really the only combo I have that will "pop" a lipless off the grass.

My name is Jim. You can call me slim. I row my boat way out to the middle.Cause the fish I'm after ain't so little. Pike, Trout, Largemouth Bass. Get me out there really fast. I know I'm good, really the best. The rest of you are such a pest. - By Henry Gibson
