How crowded is it up there nowadays - anything even close to the fall salmon run ?

I am contemplating going up 2 weekends from now...

Jer, we were up there yesterday (Wed)... it was 59* out no wind just a DELIGHTFUL day,..... We fished south of Altmar and it was okay...... FOr the Community hole there were areas where you could be yourself, I only had words with one guy....... I know It's accpeted shoulder to shoulderrolleyes But I'm sorry, I was BY MSELF for 2.5 hours and some doosh comes 10' from me and starts..........down towrads Pulaski it was MUCH more quiet......we just headed up to the crowds to check on the action....most of the DB guys said it was slow,....but the fish were there.......It definately seemed to go in spurts,....we saw about 20 get caught in the Altmar area......again we saw plenty of fish and everyone said with the river now up a bit the fishing should get better.........I wish I coulda stayed for a few days........
Pus I wanna do a drift trip to find some spots that is a hike and a half to get away from the crowds(if possible)... we only had a few hours to fish so......... we watched them all day and Xyooj had one on for about 3 seconds.....I can't wait to go back..
