What ever works for everyone else. My racks are located in North Haven and my brother will give them to whom ever takes them. If i can't find the plates for the undercap mount maybe Matt can work something out with Ryan.

Just as I feared, I just looked at how my truck's cap fits. I'm out of the running after all. I like the look of the new caps, but because they wrap down around the side of the bed a little for a more custom look, I will not be able to use either one of these racks. I'll have to keep my eye open for a top mount roof rack. New ones are outrageously priced for how much you get. The caps with a roof rack are a lot more money, which is why I didn't get one. I'm thinking about asking a welding shop what it would cost to have a set made.

The "plates" that allow use of a cap can probably be custom made cheaper than something complete. Like mattmann said, they're just plate stock. Maybe 1/8" thickness. I'm sure someone could roll the contour and then bend it horizontal to accept the rack mount. Heck, if I had a decent set of torches, I'd say bring the plates and some "frosties" and we'll Git 'er'Done!!

Well, hate to add to the muck but if there is an extra set available I have a 6' Chevy 2500 that could use those racks if no one else has already claimed them. If they will fit I will take them.

Let me know,

Max

Buck,
Don't want to step in front of ME_Fisherman but if he can't make them work I can use them. North Haven isn't that far from me so if they are still available and will fit on my 6' bed I will take them for $50. Let me know and I can swing by to pick them up this weekend.

Thanks,
Max
