Nice Salmon. Its great catching them trolling. It surprises me that they actually make it thru all the ice fishing pressure. Congo is on border of West Suffield, CT and Southwick MA.

Congamond is on the border of connecticut and massachussettes, in the suffield CT area. You can fish all 3 of the small ponds that make up the entire lake with either a MA license or CT license. They have LMB and Trout as well.

When I was there today, there was no one collecting $$$. But I don't mind throwing them the $$$ because they have really improved the Launching area's. I think they usually will charge during Bass Tourney's. Anyways that is a very nice fish. I was looking for one of them today. Mass Fish and Wildlife have been stocking Salmon for the last couple of years in Congamond.

If you'd like to fish, just ask.

It probably looked bigger because 11.5 lbs is bigger than just under 10lbs................

very nice fish.
im assuming the fish was kept?? from what i know..........they put very few( mistake me if im wrong but i thought they just put 8 in)this year.
im glad some of these fish are being released.

jayhova............on some nights you can look across the lake and see schools of bait everywhere on top. on a good calm night it can be really amazing. food is not a problem for these fish.
