I've got a 20hp Merc short shaft that's not post yet. It does great numbers for this boat.

This boat still available on CTF is mind boggling !!!!!!!!

WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE ?????!!!!!! wink2 ....CTFers are ALWAYS looking for 14'ers like this and expect to pay MUCH more than this GREAT DEAL!

DON'T MAKE ME BUY THIS!....I don't need it and have 6+ boats already....one is a 14'6".

People with 15" transom issues that want a 20" transom or have a 20" long shaft outboard for this boat can do what I did with my 14'6" 15" transom boat....I added an aftermarket aluminum jackplate to make it 20" and filled in my 15" transom with stainless steel plaating to gain freeboard and avoid transom splash.

Here is my 15" transom converted to a 20" transom:

Please HELP out a boataholic and someone please buy this rig!...before I have to!!!!!!!!!!

Joe,
-What do you expect to ask for the 20hp short shaft?...year?
-the trailer is registered/registerable?
-trailer axle, springs, bearings and tires good?
-hull no leaks?
-transom sound?

Don,

The motor is a 97 Merc with less than 30hrs on it. More like 20hrs.
The prop does not have one nick on it and still has the original paint on the prop without a scratch. Last used in the fall of 2006.
Asking price is $1200.Motor was $2300 when I bought it.

The trailer is registered. Just got the 2012 stickers. The trailer axle, springs and bearing were good when last used. It has bearing buddies. The tires are brand new. Put on in Spring 2007 and have approx 4 miles on them. From the shop to my home.

The hull had no leaks the last time I used it and the transom was sound cause the motor didn't fall off in Squantz

The carpeted plywood decking in the rear of the boat is a little soft in the area where you put the drain plug. The rest of the decking is in good shape.

Forgot to ad to the above post. Trailer takes 1-7/8" ball which I have to go with the trailer so long as you have a 2" reciever.
