Outstanding condition; never in salt water; kept in garage 24/7/365; used for fishing about 8 times in the first year and gave up (some people aren’t born to catch fish); then we used it as deck boat 3 to 8 trips per year on Candlewood Lake (not at all in 2009 due wx and work conflicts) -- 4 this year (2010). Estimate motor has 80 hours max on it (trouble free).
She’ll do 46 mph (see picture of speedometer taken in August 2010.
Includes spare tire, bimini, storage cover, a lot of fishing gear (three poles, etc.).
This is from the brochure:
-Aluminum hull metal: .100 (up from .95 in 2000)
-6 cylinder 2 cycle (automatic oil injection) 175hp Mercury inboard/outboard
-43-lb foot-controlled trolling motor, automatic charging
-Fish finder Hummingbird 128 DX LCR
-aerated live well
-18 gallon gas tank
-6 storage bins

$6,000

Where did you get the bimini top? I have the same boat I got from KAJ here on the site last year and I love it. I added a 36 volt TM and 3 m-31 batts and mine still does 46 mph! I can vouch for the speed accuracy. it runs in 4" of water! Good luck with the sale.

More weigh = more speed? Go figure.

I had a 240 guy with me once (bow up attitude): on a mirror smooth lake (Lillinoma) I got 52mph! I think it was "perfect weight and water condition."

I shopped around at marinas for one first. They wanted around $500. Ended up buying one from one of the big internet catalogs. I think it cost $160. I put it on myself. Took for screws and 30 minutes.

Hey, I saw that dirt. It's gone! One thing is sure: there are no fish blood stains...anywhere! (you can't get fish stains if you can't catch fish)

In the late 50's, as a teen-ager, I worked at a boat rental company called Haines Fishing Wharf out of the Puget Sound region (Edmongs, Washington). There was one fisherman (Japanese) who ALWAYS caught his limit, including a monster 60 pound salmon which I saw with my own eyes.

There is a talent, a magic which some fishermen have. Believe me.
