Capt,

Great chunky fish Pat! applause

I need me some of that arm stretching! wink2

Do you think the off colored water coming into the sound from all of the rain and run off is what is making the pink tubes stand out and be so effective?

I caught a lot of bass in the river on bubblegum mambos when it was flooded and looked like coffee.

Just curious if this is a factor or not.......

Bubblegum has been a go to color in the clear waters of LIS for me going on 3 years now. All I can think of is it's a ringer for large ribbon worms or squid.

Whatever the reason, there's no denying the fact that stripers go nuts for them! applause

Nice Pat...I love the bubblegum as well and actually taking a break from charters on Sunday and Monday to fish with my family and do some tubing in tight to shore...I think it will be game on as it usually is the first week of July :-)
