I have a couple of old surf casting rods in need of replacement guides. One of them probably requires a complete replacement of all guides and the other can make do with just the tip replacement. Could I get some direction on where I can have this done? I was thinking of just buying the guides from Cabela and doing the work myself but am having a hard time find all the right sizes.

JustClamming, be glad to try and help. I'm in Glastonbury, TAZ575 is in the Middletown area and if you can't use me I would also recommend TAZ.

Thanks everyone here for your suggestions. After thinking about it for a bit, I've decided to forget about replacing the guides and just buy a new rod. Rod technologies are constantly evolving so it's probably time for me to upgrade the rods to the 21st century.

You may want to rethink that Sometimes getting a rod redone is Better that a new one . My kid got a redone one from Ray at the swapmeet and it was better than a new rod He had done a AWSOME job on it
