"My boy caught this using a Daiwa Silver cast reel with 6lb test and a Daiwa triforce rod. He was only 4 and the fish was over 4lbs. He caught a sunfish and was reeling it in when the above bass smashed the sunny and ran away with it. I helped him with the drag and the landing but he did most the work himself. He still talks about it. The fish was released to swim another day."


great fish and great catch, where was the fish released?
I would have it mounted for my kid.

thanks, I didn't even think to mount it. We took some pictures and let her swim away right back where we caught her. I probably could still do a mount as I got like 20 pictures of it.
