WOW, Ive been to AK but this is how I really want to see it. Your son will probably never forget this trip. You could spend years there and never see everything you want to see and do.

Whoa guys, thanks for the comments! Now that I've been back a week, there are times when I can't believe that we did the whole trip and made it back in one piece. Lot of cool stuff out there in the world, that is for sure!

Exactly how long were you gone from time you started your drive out to the time you got home? One day I'd like to be able to take that much time off.
Thanks Mitch, I was gone about 60 days, with a week of driving on each end, so we were there together about 6 weeks. Travelling like that just shows you how much cool stuff is out there. It si hard to come home without planning some new trip for the future, but I don't have a plan for the next one and it is going to take some time to recover. Again thanks!
