A sad day indeed cry2

Thank you again 100x for taking me out!!!

Seeing as I still have "A wish to catch some fish!" I'll probably do 1 maybe 2 more sea bass/cod trips. If you are interested let me know.

I should've been here yesterday?
I was...

If you chase two rabbits, you will not catch either one.

hit the bacon with a propane torch for a few seconds when they are done. it will crisp up almost instantly.

Since the pan had a 2" lip I couldn't get the bacon to crisp up even though I convection baked it at 500*F for 15+ minutes and then tried to crisp it on the Hogh Broiler for a few minutes. Still good, but could have been crispier bacon.

The bacon puts out a LOT of grease so I didn't bother greasing the pan.

The below is 2 fillets chunked up from a 20" Tog.....and used 1/2 a strip of bacon on each chunk.

I had three pieces of bacon and no toothpicks so I had to move away from classic "bites" set up. some cakes for good measure.

Didn't you guys hear... FDA now says Bacon is ADDICTIVE.

They are working on developing a 12 step program. See you all there!

Combine Bacon with Tog... a known gate way food, and we are all toast.
