Loc: CT. Got a problem with that?
I have a Penn International 975. I think it needs a drag washer/assembly or something. Star drag tightened all the way and still little resistance.
Which tackle shop can I bring it to and either get the parts or fixed while waiting? i don't wan to ship it or drop it off.

If you chase two rabbits, you will not catch either one.

Fixed while waiting is a lot to ask.

I believe Rivers End Tackle in Old Saybrook services Penn....but more than likely you'll need to drop it off and leave it...which is reasonable.

Good luck

just to follow up, I broke down the reel and the drag assembly was soaked in a water/oil goop mix. I cleaned the entire reel and inspected the drag washers, the washers were just fine. Fixed.
