Here's a picture of a purple Marauder we found in Hoop's garage while gearing up for a trip off shore with him in 2015. Beat em up is an understatement!!!!

GOD do I miss being down there!!!! I want to make it back down there badly before you retire Hoop, so stay healthy and keep fishing!

Why didn't you stay and keep fishing. Catch and release?
Going in at noon is considered a half day trip for us.

C&R is not an option with this type of fish. The stress of the fight will kill them. These fish are too valuable for that foolishness.
