Must be something new. I was there last week and didn't see a sign. Did it specify only one over 16"?

It is listed in the book as a "trout management lake" but gives no specifics. I would like to see it the same as Highland with only one over 16".

Here's the sign. No one around the lake I've talked to knows anything about this. There was a sign put up a few weeks ago but then was taken down by the state. Now there's this one.

Well there is a guy who goes around up there telling people they can't launch their boat with a motor over 8hp if the prop is removed so maybe he got one of these signs from Highland and posted it there??

that's it, who knows. The DEEP didn't say anything about it yet. I didn't think the state could afford that many staples.

Just stopped at DEEP headquarters in Harwinton and was told the sign is now gone as they were put up by mistake.

Yep, the sign is gone. I saw a DEEP truck today. The prior sign said "no ice fishing".....so they've been having sign problems.

I was told the signs are put up by the boating division and not the officers.

More tax payer money thrown in the garbage. If you can't do your job you should be fired. I'll stop now before I go off the grid.
