Me and the WENCH meandered our lazy assets down there around 9am...well apparently a tournament was happening,40 + trailers...we managed to scrape out 4 keeper largemouth 7/8 swing and miss 1 pike bite off and 8 or so waypoints gathered for the PF,all we had was state bathymetry...and wishing in one hand crapping in the other...which one gets full first.algae bloom, water temp *surface) 73.4 up to 75.6.dodging tournament guys all day is zero fun.we fished all the sunny areas they were avoiding like plague..nice launch.of course we called it quits at weigh in time...like 84 in waterbury. wtf
...id tell you where the bass were hiding but then you'd know...bahaha

We semi watched the weigh in...we were more interested in the DEEP biologist measure /weigh and validation prior to release....dump at the launch...minimal stress at that point,prior?,...watched a guys bag break and all the fish hit the deck...not thrilled.mostly large jaws.i just did not see the fastest growth rate they claim for bass.albeit one trip my opinion means nothing.when is the last time a 8 + came out of there.???...a lot of tournament pressure...the launch area is top notch..."if you build it they will come."
