Tom had a few guys at the southern end, and not too far out, so I guess it's iffy, but not for long. Hatch in Kent has plenty of ice. I would guess Crescent lake in Southington is good. Even with was these frigid temps my buddy's father-in-law and his friend went through the ice yesterday in Mass on Lake Quinsigamond playing hockey and had to be rescued and treated in hospital for 8 hours before being released.
If a neighbor hadn't taken action with a kayak and ropes they probably both would have died soon in yesterday's temps!
