Found this on a website. Lot of good reports by the looks of it although I didn't see Gardner on the list.

I fished the cover Friday and had 4"+ in most spots, it was thinner is some spots, but still over 3 inches. Perch were hungry, lots of fatties in a 2 hour trip all released for others to enjoy. I am sure it's probably 6+ now.
