65 degrees...i dont need a tree to fall on my head.cumberland mntn st park, byrd creek slip floats and butterworms.day 2 obey river butterworms and bottom bouncers ,finesse.
Great trip and results. You are probably the only trout fisherman in Tenn. who fishes with butter worms. You will be like the Pied Piper of trout fishing!
The Obey was super high Dale Hollow was sluicing and 2 generators.
..so we hit the feeder streams .worked well.20 trout ,kept 8..allowed 7 per person, seems a bit much.actually caught 2 browns today, not common round these parts.Buck: momma raised one ugly ass baby but he 'aint stupid.thanx, peru worms, manna from heaven.
The drive/ roads up to Dale Hollow are gruseome...cliffs ditches etc.no way im hauling the big boat.took a alternate route back...2 lane / 4 lane highway 111,xtra 20 minutes but no white knuckles and the wife talkin about getting a scrip for valium.lesson learned.Tn should be the " die in a ditch state" not the volunteer state.its a very interesting place to be,if you are bored...you,re an idiot.
