Will Amazon come to CT? They've officially pulled out of NY.

But, just saw this reported: Amazon said Thursday it does not plan to look for another location, and will continue to build out offices in Arlington, Virginia, and Nashville, Tennessee.

I would bet that they would build out of country, just like all large corporations do, before they built anything within United States.

Greed is the factor.

I'd take that bet. If they build a facility out of the U.S., day on my boat. If they build in the U.S., day on your boat?

And I'm not saying Amazon is the greatest thing ever by any means. Case in point:

REVEALED: Amazon pays NOTHING in federal corporate taxes for the second year running despite doubling its profits to more than $11billion

That's the kind of prize that I can gamble with. I agree to your terms!

Nice. Now, to avoid a JFM-SSWind fuel saga, we should probably have any gray areas covered now.

For example, when you say "out of the country" I assume Puerto Rico would count as out of the country, even though it's a U.S Territory.

Puerto Rico could use a logistical giant setting up shop there - crack the locals into shape in order to sustain operations...then again a billion dollar empire operating out of a hyper corrupt pseudo-state doesn't sound like a turnaround down the line coming back to US taxpayers.

Define greed. How much should a corporation be allowed to make, before you say, you can't make anymore.
