I'm tying baits up for the swap meet. Blue/black is always a favorite chatterbait/jig, baitfish patterns are popular with spinerbaits, but does anyone have other favorites? Please chime in on whatever it may be, especially if you're repeating someone else's response - the more people like a particular style the more of them I'll make.

Thank you in advance.

Always so busy doing custom styles I forget about simple things like...all white/ chartreuse/ black. I'd expect each would be popular enough to bring some.

Orange/Black is a combo request I've gotten in the past - so it's an easy one to add to the mix as I've got the materials on hand.

Another question - weed guards or no no weed guards? I see on some of the newer models they've started adding them. I block the space in the mold for the weed guards with a plug, but could easily make the heads to include weed guards.

Just my opinion, but I never use a spinner bait with a weed guard.

I've never used weed guards I second white, black and chartreuse.

Still have to do up some of the craw, chartreuse shiner and golden shiner patterns from last swap meet, I think I want to try some sort of white sucker imitation as well, along with whatever anyone suggests. After all the tying is done I'll go back through and put the blades on everything. I'm making them in 3 sizes, 1/2oz, 3/8oz and 1/4oz tying a few of each pattern in each size.

One of the above is a bluegill pattern I tried to pull together using some purple flash/ green pumpkin, blue, chartreuse and obviously white/orange belly accents. It uses a total of 7 different silicone to pull this one together.
