Brought out 2 Japanese colleges for the trip who had visions of fresh tuna dancing in their heads. Their first time on the Atlantic fishing. Of course they packed all sorts special Japanese soy sauce, wasabi root and other stuff I could not identify or was willing to try.

We brought the shark gear but decided not to try it as there was 0mph wind for an effective drift so we opted to troll all day.
Dropped the trolling lures in at the Ranger Wreck and gave it hell for 3 hours with not even a sniff. Trolled East to below the horns then up to the acid barge with the same results.

On the bright side saw plenty of whales, porpoise, sunfish and sharks.

They did have fun busting my balls about the lack of fish and questioning my fishing skills or lack thereof.

PS
Came across a log with 20 mahi around it, they would not take lures or cast baits.
Probably to nervous to eat with the 2 juvenile porpoise making runs at them or the small Mako circling 50 yards out.

Can’t win if you don’t play but I’m really hoping the bite picks up in those areas this year.
