Me,the wench and our friend bill launched the big boat at meadow park lake monday.6:00 am.by 9:00am we had 30 perch in the box.fished till 11:00 am...just got to hot.87 degrees and humid.early bite was in 5/ 8 ft of water.last 10 came out of 12/15 ft of water.bill took home 12 so add 12 more to this pile.heres the damage.90% of the schools were seen on side imaging prior to setting up.by all rights it should have been a mediocre day.go figger.
little bastards are like 3000 grit sandpaper with razor blades.OUCH.iodine and bandaids. (Sorry about the sideways, keep forgetting to edit)
It is so hot down here that half day trips are the norm.but its still cool in the morning,so we are up early.i guess our yankee perch fishing skills fit in the suitcase.Nobody down here targets them and they,re pretty stupid and hungry.summer crappie is a tough nut to crack, still working on that.we get out once/ twice a week.its all about timing, dinner and vacum sealer bags.
WAVEWALK DEMO AGENT: Send me a message if you want to try the W500,W700 and soon the S4.
You can take what you want from life......As long as you give a little Back. "We never get over the fishing fever, it's a delightful disease and thank the lord there is no cure". "CTF, is a lure I can not afford to NOT have in my pocket"
Don’t argue with Idiots.. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Our freedoms are being choked, big brother's grip is getting tighter.
Hoping for a new report soon.got hot on us again 90degrees for the next 5 days.unless we get up at 4 am its just not worth putting either boat in the water.gas bait breakfast etc. And you are off the water by 10/11...soon..we do need some fillets.got a new lake, did well on a boat launch check.small lake ,75 acres.loaded up on shellcrackers from shore.. ran out of red worms of all things.it was a very nice little lake 30 minute drive.just sitting in chairs at a dirt launch, caught 15.worth bringing the puddle hopper back....we,ll see.
we do enjoy our fresh fish.we see a tendency in our fishing now more towards big panfishing.we still love bass fishing but maybe we,re not so fussy anymore.??
