I recently bought a like new Masterbuilt smoker from one of my customers.
Today was the cherry popper.
I bought a huge rack of baby back ribs and a boneless pork butt for my debut smoke.

I coated a ton of McCormick Applewood rub and some garlic powder, onion powder and paprika and left them to get happy in the fridge overnight.
I used the 3-2-1 smoking method with hickory chips and a bit of pure apple juice at hour 3 for extra moisture.
We ate most of the ribs tonight and they were amazing.
I'll shred the butt for pulled pork with slaw tomorrow.

After a super slow deer season last year, I hope I can try that.

Looks good and I'm sure it was good!

If you fish try some smoked Porgies!
I used to do that every fall at this time for winter eating.
Filet the Porgies and a quick smoke. I even did some Sea Robins one time. They were good too!
A little smoked fish and sharp swhite cheddar cheese on a Ritz. Ummumm good!

Crabs, clams, Oysters and beer!

Jon looks scrumptious!!!!!!

Ya gotta try a Rib Roast in there. Lot of recipes on line.
I do it simple :
Let the roast warm up a few hours on the counter
rub with olive oil, then just salt and pepper
225-250 till it hits 125
pull cover and rest for 1/2 hour
crank up smoker to 400+
sear till ya hit 130 -135
pull and rest for 15 min to half hour

OMfing G!!!! Better than any prime rib in a restaurant!

Ribs are great, but just did um too often.

pork loin comes out awesome too!

Got a pellet smoker grill last year to try, liked it so much, got a second for the camper.
