Good luck to Paul Dona, who will be riding 100 miles in this Saturday's Closer to Free Ride.
https://www.rideclosertofree.org/

Paul, nice work raising money for cancer research. Still time to donate to Paul's campaign here:

Definitely post some pics and a follow-up on your ride!

Thanks, Mitch ! I made all my $$ goals to get home check in, and the awesome after party in November.

Wet roads to start, but I'm ready !! 14 of us did 70 miles this past Sunday. New London ferry to Orient point ,then biked and took ferries to the Hamptons and back. SUPER flat, and easy, but a ton of fun along the way. Claudios was a joke ! 3 hr wait to get in! We opted for a restaurant at Orient point.

What should we have done? I will be setting up another ride soon.

Have fun my friend. Hoping for a safe ride for you. Also thank you for encouraging me to be a better cyclist. I am new and your advice will help me meet this year's riding goal.

If I fish more I need more lures. If I had more lures I would fish more. I don't think I'm addicted do you?

Wasn't sure if you were onboard again, Todd. Nice. Good to see you also eclipse your fundraising goal. Nice work.

Look forward to some pics and follow-up on how the day went.

Have a great ride!

Todd, you guys rock it! Didn't you guys do the 25 last year? Yes, let's get a picture! We'll be up front to the left like last year.
Everyone say a prayer for no rain. I'm thinking wet roads to start. : (

good luck to all of you!! hopefully the rain avoids this area, but you will likely have some headwinds to deal with at times during the trek
