Well needless to say we,ve had it...no fishing no fun...i think the biggest hangover from this stupid virus will be people like us going nuts.well i refuse to bend over and spread my cheeks for the govt.sooo me and the wench rediscovered a lake with no damn gate.died and went to shellcracker heaven.bank fishing,little red worms and the magic worm( bucks peruvian butterworms).restocked the freezer.(plus all the cats from our dale trip) spawn is on.

Nice bunch of fish. I also busted out today to pick a new rifle up in Gainesville. First time out since last month, I had to get used to high speed driving again. It was sure nice to drive through Atlanta with everyone doing the speed limit and no one being stoopid. Left 2 lanes were empty. It'll probably be a whole lot different come Friday when stuff starts to open up, which is why I went today.

Yea,i understand the highway driving gig.all we have been doing is the little local country stores,all back roads.getting our eggs and milk from locals( help them out) no walmart.bartering excess ammo for potatoes spinach,even traded some venison steaks for a pile of mushrooms.1st time on a highway today in 2 weeks.bartered some 100 + year old morgans to a buddy up on Dale Hollow last week for a meat run trip.just sayin, something to consider.start now it,ll be easier later if a shtf situation occurs.

No ,its a black...and it was not spawning yet.daggum thing ate a worm.dont usually bring live minnows here,..last 2 trips minnows caught nada?its a nice little lake,60 acres out in the country.quiet,scenic,45 mile drive.our local lake 10 minutes from the house.gated,locked...stupid it is a primitive area.no playgrounds,no bball courts no bathrooms...just dumb...no gas motors allowed either.supposedly going to open it tomorrow...big deal,thunderstorms heavy rain.way to go.

Went back to our quiet little lake last week( late post,log in issues).slow bite.zero bites on slip floats.went to a simple egg sinker slip rig little red worms,boy do they stink.12/15 ft of water.scraped up 10 missed 3 ,shellcrackets.majority were females holding large egg sacks.was told this is probably a 2nd spawn.2 were pushing 10.5 inches whoppers.
