Hi all!!! After 7-8 years of being without a boat and being away from the CTF site, I’m finally getting back on the water in something I own. Family building is done and it’s time for a new direction on the water focusing on family fun, overnighters, and exploring, with the occasional bass, fluke, and shark trips thrown in for good measure. Would love to run 40+ mph over the water again, but slow, steady, and safe with (some) creature comforts is the priority now.

There is a creampuff 1969 33’ Brownell tucked away in Rhode Island that has found its way to my bank account and our family’s hearts. She is being surveyed Sept 10 and with any luck will be home with us before the 20th. She’s got a 315 Yanmar with 600hrs.

She won’t be named KielBASSea, Paul will keep that name for his run and gun boat in a couple years. She was named GREYLAG from the original build and has kept her name since. She is a cold molded boat with immaculate oak framing, 3 layers of monogamy stripping under the waterline, and 2 layers above the water line, all finished off with 2 layers of fiberglass, gel coat, and fresh awlgrip.

Some pics attached.

Glad to be back in the group. Looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Best,
Shenton
