Not heavy metal..but Joe Bonamassa is one hellava guitarist..he brings in his band some really groovy dudes..and hot singing chicks too...his singing voice though is not raspy enough..dude's got talent.
Just saw this thread for the first time. Huge metal fan here especially Black Label/Zakk Wylde, Sevendust, and Pantera. I also play on some strings, anyone else play in here?

I've seen Tool in concert over 20 times - most during the 1990's-early 2000's. Danny Carey is right up there with Neal Peart and John Bonham in terms of skill. I was fortunate enough to hear him play Third Eye live.
