Where you get that name? You'll do well with Keith a very good friend of mine. Thanks for the tips on Williams can definetely use them. What are you doing in DC?
nfish,
Thanks. Have fished winni on several occasions with Keith and have done very well.
It appears as though I'm picking the right lakes so far.
Went up to Lake Waramaug to fish and scout out some locations!! Holy Cow there are a ton of spots to go around that lake. I found myself hiking the road that goes around the lake and found a bunch of spots that looked like they could produce some good fish. Some spots require you to do a tarzan act to get there....I tried to limit these today , being I was flying solo! I did not have much luck inthe way of fishing, but will for sure go back up there..I am sure there is great potential. Basshunter.Holy Crap.you did real well!!

Little help getting there please?
Site says,
From Torrington/Litchfield: follow US Route 202 south onto CT Route 45 north. Take a right onto Route 45 and then a left onto North Shore Road. Continue around the lake to the park.
I know where Torrington is, but im not sure about 202. I would be coming north on route 8. I think 202 is an exit off 8, but its been a coupla years since ive been up that way.
Shoot...I forgot the exit number from route 8....the exit sign should have 202, or Litchfield on it...it dumps you off about a mile or 2 north of the town center (202 goes right through the town center) Just follow 202 south past Bantam....passed Mt. Tom and then into the town of New Preston (not much to see).....look for the Waramaug signs (route 45)......if you go into New Milford on 202 YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR!!
Get on Rte. 8N take the harwinton exit rte 118. Take a left at the end of the exit cross overpass. 1st left after over pass is 202 continue on until you get to litchfield top of hill go left to 45n.
