Don J Member Registered: 03/07/03 Posts: 784 Loc: SE CT	Fished the Yantic today...picked up 5 trout at the Barstow Rd area and 3 trout at the Stanton Rd bridge...Water was still high at ~1,000 cfs...fish were hard to reach even w/ several s/shot... Trout were caught on #6 olive buggers, #2 Vibrax gold spinners, and #2 & #3 Mepps spinners in gold...Photos are "live" not Memorex (haha)...Trout in photo was snapped as the "WAVES" came in and out, so he/she was not laying on the stream gravel for long...

Henry - after I got over being mad at some of the negative comments from some members, I figured, maybe they're right, why not keep the fish in the water instead of dragging them on the river bank for a photo... they seem to flop around less by keeping them in the water although you have to throw your rod/reel in the water for perspective!! Anyway, I always release trout, so if that gives them a little better chance, why not... It was tough today because there were waves to contend with from the high water....
