Rukus, the bottom rigs are basicly carolina rigs.
1/2oz egg sinker, glass bead, swivel, 18inch flouro carbon leader, with a #6 gamakatzu bait hook. cast it out flip the bait runner on, and wait.
I love it when its nice and quiet then outta nowhere.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzztttt......zzzzzzzz......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!
Lots of fun. and very simple

The stocked fingerlings are between 4-7 inches long. Some years they are small (4-5 inches) and some years they are quite hefty, 6-7 inches. The last batch stocked in fall was very good, 5-7 inch fish. It all depends on how the summer is up in Minnesota, because it does affect fry growth rate.
This goes for all the other WA lakes. All fingerlings are the same each year, they all come from MN and they all arrive on the same tanker truck.

Nice report guys, it sounds really rewarding to catch your own bait and then hook up afterwards!

Thanks everyone!

Jon A, yeah we got the finder, its just that the balls of bait we'rent that massive I guess. the bait would move in at about 2ft off the bottom then slowly work its way up to the light. when we dropped it down they would still bite.
when they were up top, we were catching them doing a figure8 with the sabikis. that was realy funny.

The reason I ask what size they stock them was because, somebody said that they dont spawn there. but Eggo disagrees. he said that he's caught 4inch walleye, and that he didnt think they stock them that small. so he naturaly thought that these small fish are from a spawn.

thanks for your help guys!
