I guess this settles it. That was the response I figured I would get for questioning the self proclaimed "Best Fisherman in CT". Thanks for the tips listed earlier for catching big bass. I bet you could also give some great tips about telling fish stories. Seems as if you've been evasive when it comes to questions about pictures or the validity of your catch. Surely a great fisherman like yourself would want to commemorate a catch as significant as breaking into double digits with a photo. I post this message on the site in the spirit of sharing and I ask you to share more information with us all. Help us learn from your wonderous techniques. And please, answer the questions posed to you earlier. In case you don't remember: was it one fish or was it many? I'm sure this topic is of great interest to the whole site, you may be the only hope for those of us that wish to catch a 10 lb er in CT. Share with us o wise one.
Reality is, a 12 lb bass is way too old to live in CT. I mean, think about how old they are at 6 lbs. It's highly unlikely we will see one, and if we do, it will be an illegal catch from some resevoir like Nepaug or Stamford Res. But a good place to catch some is just over the CT border with NY. IN the NYC Res's you have a great chance to catch over 8 lbers, and smallies over 6 are real common.
"A bad day of fishing is better than a great day at work!"
Unoriginal taboot, stealing my line. You "seen"? Dude, give up your address as I'm forwarding you one free copy of Hooked on Phonics to study sometime in the other 22 hours of your day.
I will not die, but awaken from the dream I've lived.

Here's another one: some guys actually raise them. And when I say that, I mean they constantly feed them, until the fish reaches a considerable size. After which, the person(s) in question claim to have caught them from some lake. And the rest is history.
It isn't hard to raise fish, given the right environement. Especially a warmwater species. I personally don't know of such people, but it has happened and will continue to do so, as long as some are in cosntant search of public attention.
I don't want attention and i don't feed them i'm on ss how can i afford to feed fish?. All i'm saying is we have bigger bass in CT. Whats in this for me? nothing at all i get abused no wonder why the others who catch them won't say anything at all, I'm learning!!
