Waramaug for both large and smallmouth. Not much pressure, plus the alewives grow them BIG in there. I also believe that Winchester could put out a 10+ lb largemouth no problem. My buddy caught one there ice fishing that went 8.12 and it was skinny. The structure in there leads me to think that there is just some slobs in there who really never move outside of maybe a 15 foot radius, just darting out from behind their log when a meal happens by.

Beach pond in voluntown Ct, its a deep clear water lake, the state has shocked up many large bass in the 10pd range there.also the small month have come back in the lake.

Rubberdaddy caught an 8+ hog on a swimbait a few years ago Joe G had a 9+ that made homepage 2 friends each caught 8+ while ice fishing a few winters ago Dsouth has caught em in CT I'm sure. I know he lost one at the boat that may have been a 10...
ct bass federation tournament ct river, amy perry caught a 9 in change off the day marker in middletown, and a couple years ago a guyfishing a candlewood tourney with the ny federation i think, he had a 9 in change also. i think there were pics of the candlewood one on here at one time.
huh. none of the links of pics to those old posts work... still, those are some massive bass.
dsouth probably lands a dozen 7+ fish per season, but i dont ever remember him cracking 8. we might get one per year. i dont think one was landed on this site last season, but we had several 7+.
