Waramaug for both large and smallmouth. Not much pressure, plus the alewives grow them BIG in there. I also believe that Winchester could put out a 10+ lb largemouth no problem. My buddy caught one there ice fishing that went 8.12 and it was skinny. The structure in there leads me to think that there is just some slobs in there who really never move outside of maybe a 15 foot radius, just darting out from behind their log when a meal happens by.

I know of 2- 9+lbs. Near RI border.

If I fish more I need more lures. If I had more lures I would fish more. I don't think I'm addicted do you?

huh. none of the links of pics to those old posts work... still, those are some massive bass.

dsouth probably lands a dozen 7+ fish per season, but i dont ever remember him cracking 8. we might get one per year. i dont think one was landed on this site last season, but we had several 7+.

far as i can tell, this april is yeilding some real monster fish:

jimfish: 8.5
dsouth: 7.4, 6.2, 5.7
buckcall: (boat) 7.0
JohnS: 5.0
O-BASS: 5.8, 5.0

this is one heck of a week....
