I have caught one bass over 8lbs in 22 years of fishing in connecticut. and it took me till this year to get it \:\)

I would still have to put lake Saltonstall on the list of lakes that CAN hold the very rare 10lb fish. even though its a shadow of its former days for bass fishing.
I only get out of bed early to fish.

Yes, probably a bridle-rigged 13 inch trout...or a huge lip-hooked live sunfish.
