I'll be honest, Bill, your post made me laugh. Please enlighten us about these secret waters...

As for secret waters, when I went to college in Ohio, the biggest LMB's were caught at gravel pits near construction sites that had warm waters. Are there any of those in CT?

BigBill,

Do you have a photo of the 10 pound bass that you can share with us? My personal best is 7 pounds, but I would love to change that. The biggest bass I have ever seen caught was 8-7, from a honey hole in massachusetts.The same guy caught a 10 3/4 lber back in 1995 from the same lake.

Not one mention of Bantam Lake? I've got some (realistic) 5-6 pounders out of there, and I know there are some monsters, why no mention? Not aying it is the lake but I think it deserves at least a mention?

Lets keep in mind that the majority of people/fishermen and thier stories are grossly exaggerated!!
