The kids and I hit Winchester for some late day ice-fishing on their day off for MLK Day. Although we couldn't get to the lake until later, we figured it was worth the trip, especially with the warm days coming up.

We met up with Kazz and Brett who were just coming off the ice. (Kazz got a really nice bass and pike earlier!) Kazz decided to join us for a bit and help drill some holes.

We wound up with one pickerel to avoid the skunk just before the sun was going down. The kids had fun just getting on the ice, as they never got out last year. Ice still about 8" at good, old Winchester, and there were quite a few groups out there enjoying the nice weather.

Hopefully we get a return to cold after these next few days.
