Encon,

I heard that someone harvested a decent deer out of the Success Lake park area in Bridgeport.

I didn't realize you can hunt there. Any special regs? Bow only? Small game? Waterfowl?

It's private land so he/she would have needed permission from whom ever owns it. It used to be Remington years ago. I know people have poached there before but never had legal permission to do so.

As shellback said, Success Hill and Success Lake is part of what used to be part of the Remington Arms factory. The forest up there is called Remington Woods which is where the company and soldiers used to practice the newly made ammo and guns. For a few years now there's been talk about a new development project called Lake Success Business Park.

If bluefish were to grow as big as giant bluefins, then there would be nothing left out there except for blues!

It's private property so all the laws and regs that apply to private property are in effect there.
