for busting a few dirtbag scup poachers Saturday evening in Niantic,......3 buckets of short scup.......with 3 officers there until 9 pm,..thought something major was going down..... Didn't recognize your officers and watched from afar but tell them thanks,...wish they could be there everyday as it is all out pilferage down there right nowfacepalm

Good work. I don't understand why people would want to keep a short scup. Hub Caps are easy enough to find around there.

I won't even keep 10 1/2 inch scup. There just isn't anything left to them once they're filleted. BTW, I assume commercial guys don't have a rule on size. I was in the Meriden Stop&Shop on Broad street yesterday and saw a case full of 6 inchers. That's when I first thought to myself, why? For what?
