My son has a Yamaha TT230 which needs rims relaced. It is an impossible job if you dont know what you are doing and the shops want ridiculous money to do it.

Anyone out there have the skill and will work reasonably?

Thanks,
Bruce

Doc's in Waterbury. How would you feel if the wheel came apart because you're too cheap to get the job done right.

did you try finding a use rim/hub already laced? Try strickly dirt in canton.

I have tried to find already laced without success, but will try the shop you suggested.

The spokes are properly set up, I spent hours doing it spoke by spoke

I just do not have the skill to balance them.

It isn't balancing you want but wheel truing to get it spinning in a straight axis. There are jigs you can buy that you put the wheel into and you just adjustable the spokes to get it trued
