Donation: $5.00 per person towards trophies, the rest will go to STARK STRONG TEAM

Please see us for donations, and pike count whether you catch a pike or not.

the CHAMPION will take home the highly coveted PIKETOBERFEST CUP Monster trophy, won by starkfish last year.

Aparently we have a open seat Bill cant make It.pm for details on our "plan" if it works out and is relatively convienent ....no sneaky spy stuff allowed.

I got a date to receive my new bionic knee (11/10), so I'm in. Light traveler here lookin' for a ride...

Baldpelican and Tom are in. Waiting to hear back from possible third in the boat. Hope it is a little less breezy than last year.

looking forward to sunday guys. just a heads up, their will be a ct river run going on as well that day with all the scream and fly boats out. I was out the same day as the run last year and these guys are insane. blowing thru no wake zones, throwing huge wakes, and passing way to close. They got a bunch of people upset last year, so deep should have a presence on the water this year. they came from all over last year. New York, New Jersey, Mass and Ct.

We have a permit for the full capacity of Haddam Meadows.

they launch a lot out of haddam, but they don't pull a permit. they all just plan on "meeting on the river the same day" last year a lot of boats launched at haddma meadows until one longgg trailer backed way to far in and they had to call a crane to lift him out. then everyone had to move to salmon launch to unload. It was chaos. Is their a morning check in for us

Looks like we'll only encounter them on the water, and whoever decides to launch out of Haddam.

gonna murky up the waters bad... why cant we win with this event! Be careful out there everyone. been enough boating accidents this year. deff be on the lookout.

The ramp is going to be a zoo. Most of um won't launch till after 10 and is sounds like they they plan to be tearing up the water to the north for most of the afternoon. They have as much right to use the river as anyone else. Imagine the complaints that could have been lodged about some of the Shenanigans at past Pikefests .

They're having burgers at Haddam Meadows @ 3:30....A special appearance by MikeG..in flames of course, would be appropriate.

My Daughter and I just made the mugs, and I have to say they are one of the best! I owe her $10.00 for tediously picking out the letters

Dont worry it will be pea soup fog in the morning, especially after tonights temps, should be fun for the long island guys that come across! More talk than ever of scream and flynthis year. Even spectators are planning on all launching to watch. Yawn whatever. Main river bait settled down a bit over the past week but come to expect it with the temps. Lots of top water last week, today was a lot less. Tomorrow, who knows. Low lights been better.
