Couldn't Sleep Went Fishing 7/16

I woke up at 4:30 to use the bathroom and decided to hit the CT River at dawn.
The water is way up from the rain but still wadeable for me, and the fishing was decent.
A Whopper Plopper and a fluke brought 7 fish to hand over a few hours. They all fought great in the heavy current. I love those tough battlers!
It was a nice way to start my day.

Thanks Mike. Cutting out carbs,whenever possible and I'm down 20 lbs or so.
