New Headbanger Spitfire Broke It’s Cherry 6/29

After getting pop ups on FB, and watching videos and reviews on fishing the Headbanger Spitfire top water bait I ordered a few.

I went with the 4 1/2” version (6” also available), in both blue gill and black.
This is a triple joined floating swimbait with a cupped clear lip which is similar to a jitterbug.

I was curious how it would swim in the current of the river, and this bronze bomber crushed it on my 2nd cast.

After 3 jumps and some powerful runs, she gave me my bait back!

Not bad for bright, sunny conditions and a top water bait.

I think it’s a cool bait and it comes with quality VMC hooks. I recommend it.
