Pete leaves behind his wife, Pam and his two boys, Ben and Alex (ages 4 and 2).

The family has asked for all donations to made as checks payable to CHET. ($25 minimum)

If anyone feels uncomfortable sending the checks directly to CHET, Pam has stated that they can be mailed to her home, but she does prefer the direct method. (Just one less thing for her to have to deal with.)

Pam does not get notified of who contributes, so if you decide to help out Pete's boys, feel free to drop Pam a note with your intentions...

Wake will be this coming Thursday (5/18) at Neilan Funeral home located at 48 Grand St Naiantic CT. Hours will be 5-8pm

Funeral will be at the Groton Bible Chapel this Friday (5/19) at 11am. It is located at 66 Toll Gate Road, Groton, CT

Thank You for the info. I will get mine out soon. My father passed away in an accident at 38 and left my mom to raise 3 boys ages 7,8 & 9. I feel for the family. They are in our thoughts.

There is a warrant pending for manslaughter so don't worry, Lord's not going to walk away from this free and clear. It is such a wonderful feeling to know how much Pete and his family are cared about outside of our family circle. I am his sister living in Illinois- I have two boys the same ages as Ben and Alex- we were just here two weeks ago visiting and had a nice visit with the whole family.

Your postings are overwhelming. Thanks for all your prayers. I love the squirrel story!! Pete was a good story teller! I have a great picture of us when we were kids and will post it if I can get it scanned- it is a hoot- Pete in drag!

Many people have been inquiring about ways to contribute financially. One of Pam and Pete's major goals was to help secure the boys financially in terms of college. Pam and Pete have a CHET set up for Ben and Alex. The family has spoke with a representative from CHET this morning and they ran through the steps to make a contribution.

Came home from work for lunch and the mailbox was stuffed, mostly from people who didn't know him at all...

I am so sorry to hear this tragic news of a fellow group member. I don't know Peter, and I don't know exactly what to say. However, I have a young son I fish with, and I have a family as well. Reading about Peter brings me to tears thinking about my own son and what Peter's will go through. Thank you for making the college fund info available so I too can contribute, and hopefully, along with others from CTF, bring a small ray of sunshine Peter's family during a very dark and difficult time.
