Trout stocking has begun! We will be stocking all of our Trout Management Areas soon. We have already stocked the TMA section of the Moosup River, Saugatuck River, Willimantic River, and Salmon River. TMAs are currently open for Catch and Release Fishing only from now until Opening Day on April 8, 2016. We will continue to stock the remaining TMAs and begin stocking over 200 rivers and streams and 100 lakes/ponds (now closed to fishing) in preparation for Opening Day, 6:00 am, on April 8th. Details about the TMAs are in our Angler’s Guide. The 2017 guides will be out in a couple weeks. Note: there are no changes to Inland Fishing Regulations for 2017.
