Kokanee during Trophy Trout Season? - 03/28/18 04:04 PM

Now that East Twin is a trophy trout lake and is open through March 31. I'm wondering if we can keep Kokanee caught during this month? Trout have to be 16" - one fish only, but what about the salmon? Thanks

I've never caught one until like the third week of may. In twin lakeville or west hill. Are they still in lakeville, remember like 40 years ago when I was ten my dad's friend brought a lake trout over to the house he caught in lakeville. Once the alewives got in there they the lakers disappeared. Vitamin B deficiency and cant spawn sucessfully if they eat alewives.

They were stocked in the past few years but I haven't heard of any being caught. 1.5" fry don't stand a chance with the bass, pickerel and browns in the lake.
