boating course expiration? - 03/18/10 12:17 AM
I took and passed the boating course given by the local power sqaudron.....in November 2006. I never got around to getting my boating certificate. Is there an expiration to the paperwork that they gave me? Would I need to take the course again? thank you for your answer in advance.

My wife is in the same situation. She passed two years ago, and we never got the license.
I would like to hear the answer on this one too.

As long as the course was a NASBLA approved course, there is no expiration. You do need to produce your Certificate of Completion.

When I took the course, the Teacher told us over and over to get the
boating certificate right after finishing the coarse, if you wait or forget, you may have to take the coarse again if its to long of a time span.

Once you pass the course, you pass the course. Bring the form with you when you purchase your certificate.
